Dinner Time...

I decided that each one of my kids is going to cook at least one meal a week this Summer.  James is already a pro at making Mac N' Cheese, Top Roman soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, reheating left-overs, making arepas, pancakes, fried eggs and toast, and there was something else he is good at.  I just think he can learn some new recipes.  Eliza is the same way.
Now, Juliette and Sophia have been my side-kicks...they always stand next to me when I cook.  Especially Sophia.  This week I stood next to Juliette instead and taught her how to cook spaghetti and stir fry some green beans.  She LOVED it and was so happy with herself.  She felt like such a big girl.  Dinner was a complete success and it was delicious, except James didn't appreciate the Spaghetti sauce...he doesn't like anything that is TOMATO based.  Go figure?

Juliette later set some dinner aside for Rob to take to work the next day.  It was all put in a Tupperware container with a note that said:
"Juliette made it all by herself.  Not all by myself, with a little bite of mom's help.  I love you daddy.  Love Juliette."

James convinced Sophia to pinch his nose while he attempted to chew and swallow the spaghetti!  Such a silly boy!  The Drama was quite funny to watch.  Sophia was a great sport and she laughed the whole time too.  So cute!
